It takes few steps to light POUFFIRE:
No, POUFFIRE burner does not allow the regulation of the flame, which operates at full capacity for the entire duration of its ignition.
To turn off the floor fireplace, you have to use the supplied handle to pull the magnet on the burner cap. You can then place it on the burner hole, above the flame, while avoiding burning risks.
Otherwise, the burner turns off automatically once the bioethanol runs out.
It is strongly recommended not to close the POUFFIRE when the burner is on: the flame could damage the lid, without however burning it.
However, it does not cause any problems to do it immediately after turning off the fireplace, to use it as a pouf. In fact, the residual heat does not damage the wood and the lid never touches the hot glass.
POUFFIRE can also be used without the glass. However, we strongly recommend its use as it helps to contain the flame horizontally, developing it vertically. Furthermore, the glass does not disturb the lid or prevent it from closing.
As an ecological floor fireplace, POUFFIRE has a real warming flame, powered by bioethanol. The heat produced (1,4 kW of power) is not comparable to that of a wood/pellet fireplace, but is sufficient to heat a room of approximately 20 mq (24 yd²).
The duration of the flame varies depending on the size of the chosen pouf. In the case of the POUFFIRE mini, the expected duration is about 3-4 hours. As for the MAXI one, it is about 6-7 hours.
It is important to remember that the heat will remain even after the flame is turned off.
The two holes on the sides of the base and the lid help to easily lift the pouf. In fact, they allow you to insert your fingers and have a comfortable grip.
The POUFFIRE weighs about 28 kilos (62 pounds): this allows it to be moved easily and placed into any environment, thanks to its small size.
